Summer Break Renovations: Two Buildings Get A Summer Makeover at Temple University

June 26th, 2019

E.P. Guidi is proud to have completed summer break renovations to two buildings at Temple University.

The 1300 Residence Hall project will be completed over two consecutive summer breaks.  The project scope consists of removing and replacing finishes throughout the entire 300,000 sf building, including:

  • Removing and replacing flooring, paint, millwork, electrical and lighting in the dorm rooms
  • Paint, carpet, millwork, electrical and lighting, and upgraded ceilings in all common areas
  • Finishes in each stair tower

The Mitten Hall project consists of the 9,200 sf renovation of the University Human Resources Department.  The project scope includes demolition, millwork, renovation of storefront and entrances along the corridor at 1913 N. Broad Street, and new offices for the department.  Temporary ADA-compliant ramps were installed to allow access into the building via an alternate entrance while construction is in progress.

The E.P. Guidi team worked hard on these fast-track projects this summer, in order to meet their tight schedules and be complete in time for the return of students, faculty and staff for the Fall Semester.
