E.P. Guidi constructed a 244,000 SF manufacturing and warehouse facility for Keeco, a home textile manufacturer and distributor. The new concrete tilt-up building provides high-bay industrial space, loading and docking capacity for tractor trailers, and interior areas designed to support large-scale storage and distribution operations.
The project included spread footing foundations, a heavy-duty slab-on-grade, and the development of a 15-acre site to accommodate stormwater management and off-site retention systems. The site’s zero laydown area and strict sediment control requirements demanded precise sequencing and daily coordination between crews and inspectors. Extensive field testing was performed at two separate locations each day to maintain compliance and construction continuity.
Despite the logistical constraints, E.P. Guidi successfully constructed the tilt-up concrete wall system and integrated parking and circulation areas with 38 loading docks and trailer parking. The facility’s design supports efficient movement of goods and long-term operational performance.
