As part of the multi-phase redevelopment of Terminal B at Philadelphia International Airport, E.P. Guidi completed construction for a series of restaurants and retail spaces operated by local chefs and national brands. The program transformed the passenger experience within one of the airport’s busiest terminals, delivering distinctive dining and shopping environments while maintaining active gate operations.
Phase I introduced Germantown Biergarten, Mezzogiorno Italian Eatery, and Boule Café. Phase II expanded offerings with Cibo Bistro and Wine Bar, Baba Bar, Love Grille, Liberty Prime, and Noobar. Each venue featured its own design standards, kitchen systems, and material requirements, requiring detailed coordination with multiple vendors, hospitality groups, and airport authorities.

Working within a secure, occupied terminal, E.P. Guidi applied the firm’s established aviation approach—coordinating closely with airport authorities, maintaining active gate operations, and adhering to all safety and inspection requirements. Finishes such as signature lighting, specialty millwork, and high-end tile were installed under tight timeframes and quality controls suited to a high-traffic environment.
The project also included upgrades to gate hold areas with custom seating, integrated lighting, and interactive iPad stations for travelers. Together, these efforts reflect E.P. Guidi’s ability to deliver complex interior fit-outs in secure, high-performance settings where safety, coordination, and passenger experience are equally important.
