E.P. Guidi constructed a cluster of three corporate aircraft hangars on the eastern side of Philadelphia International Airport, each designed to accommodate multiple private and corporate jets. The pre-engineered metal structures feature wide clearspan bays supported by deep foundations and integrated Jet-A fuel systems with 25,000-gallon underground tanks and containment measures for spill control and fire suppression.
Each hangar was tailored to its tenant’s operational needs, incorporating a mix of office, lounge, and maintenance functions. Features include passenger lobbies, conference rooms, mechanical shops, and a combination of single- and two-story office spaces, some with mezzanines and elevator access. Customized interior finishes reflect the identity of each corporate client, while durable urethane floor coatings provide lasting performance under demanding aviation conditions.

A centralized Foam Pump House was also constructed to serve all three hangars, providing shared fire protection and supporting compliance with stringent airport and NFPA standards. All utilities were routed beneath the structural slab and supported by the deep foundation system to maintain clear, obstruction-free hangar space.
Tenants include Sunoco, Berwind, Lincoln Financial, and SKC Partners—Spectacor, Keystone Foods, and Comcast. The completed complex demonstrates E.P. Guidi’s specialized experience in aviation construction, where safety, coordination, and precision are critical from foundation to finish.
